The band that I am photographically involved in, The Boomchickas, has released its first CD today. The title of this CD is Rockabill Shellfish Ltd. (no relation to an Irish fish-exporting company). It features good and honest rock/rockabilly songs such as 'twenty flight rock', 'rock this town' and 'rockabilly boogie'. This CD is a special limited edition and therefore not available in the shops (the absence of a record-label deal also has a minor role to play in this).

De commissie-Brinkman wil de internetabonnementen van Nederlandse huishoudens met enkele euro's per jaar belasten. Dit kan ongeveer 20 miljoen euro opleveren, waarmee de overheid nieuwe initiatieven van de perssector kan stimuleren.

Een eervolle vermelding is er voor Tofik Dibi met zijn ideetje: Kinderbijslag rechtstreeks naar jongere.

GroenLinks Kamerlid Tofik Dibi wil dat jongeren vanaf 16 jaar de kinderbijslag rechtstreeks op hun eigen rekening bijgeschreven krijgen.
