On this here blog? But why? It's over. I'm on holiday. Won't be seeing any work till January 5th. So I'm not sure what I will do with this webspace until then. What I am sure of is that I will celebrate the fact that this year is over. Best forgotten quickly ....

Talking about stealing .... I actually got the name 'Minispace' from Blur, who called their site 'Blurspace'. But anyway; bugger darn shit blast - the tickets for their 2009 concert are on sale tomorrow morning but I have to work with no access to that website ... so I'll problably have to climb fences or dig tunnels to get into Hyde Park!
PS. if there are people out there who want to 'buy a friend'; I'm all yours for one Blur ticket ...

07 Dec '08 - 15:20 How Very Disappointing
It's been 'live' for a while, but I never bothered to write about till now, due to sheer disappointment. BMW 'MINI' have launched a site and they decided to call it 'Mini Space'. I wonder where they got the name from, considering the fact I have 'Bayerische Motor Werke Munich' visiting my site frequently. Some highly paid marketing-person must have earned a lot of money stealing the name from me. I'm consulting my lawyers on the issue, but I can assure you one thing - BMW are in deep trouble. And that's certainly not got anything to do with the current car-manufacturing crisis or a lawsuit. I think it's more a question of a serious "lack of original ideas" problem going on at BMW.
'Creative use of Space' they call it. Nice euphemism for stealing. Just like anything else concerning the Mini and it's heritage. And I mean the real one, not that afterbirth BMW launched.
Oh well, I wish them all the best with their new site. Shoplifters of the World Unite!

It's often the simple things in life that can make you happy. That is, simple to someone, but hellishly difficult to someone else. Today, after another stressy no-fun day at the office, my inbox provided me with a simple token of happiness I very much needed today.
Did I win the lottery? Erm, No.
Did I score an outrageously beautiful woman and she wants to have all my babies? Sadly No.
What I did get though, was the Code of Columbus. Or better, the Code of Austin Texas. My blog-compagnion, self-confessed Octoberfest addict and lover of all things Dutch, the aptly called 'Bear' (aka David) actually spent some of his spare time helping me out with the layout of this site. Because I couldn't do it, sweet Pixelchick couldn't do it (harhar) and it had unnerved me for ages;
I wanted to centre my blog. Yes, and I'm not ashamed to admit it, that's all and it. Not as easy at it reads ...
David - you are an absolute hero. My thanks for your efforts !
