Back home. Trust me to visit Rome in a mini-heat-wave. 33 Degrees Celcius solid everyday. I thought I was melting. But at least the Pope had the common courtesy to show up on the day we visited the Vatican. We thought the day before Ascension Thursday would be quiet, but there you have it. Full of Catholics. I felt like being in the middle of a pop concert. "Il Papa, Il Papa .." they shouted. And to top it off, one of the choirs that was singing on the square was a Dutch Volendam-costume-and-all one ...

Well actually, I'm off to Rome on monday to play tourist and to look for some Angels & Demons. So the already poor blogfrequency here will decrease even more. Mind you, I will bore the visitors of this website with Rome-photos for some time to come starting the end of next week ... you were warned.
