Highlights from the rallying career of the Mini :
- Between them the 1071 S and 1275 S won the Monte Carlo Rally three times officially and were disqualified for a technical lighting error (however a very dubious one) for a fourth win, in the years 1964 - 1967. In 1968, Hopkirk was third.
- the 1275 S won 23 international Rallies for the Works between it's april 1964 Tulip-winning debut and september 1969's assault on the Tour de France. It was succeeded by the 1275GT Clubman, which used much of the same mechanical know-how to finish second on the june 1970 Scottish, Hopkirk's last Abingdon outing.
